WITTY CHERIES

Tea type: flavoured pu-erh green and white teas
Brand: Dear Tea Society
How to prepare it: 3-4 minutes at 80 °C (175°F)

Dry scent:
Cherries everywhere and in all their shades: sweets, fresh, slightly bitter and juicy. There is also something else in the background, a different kind of sweetness, which mix up quite well with the cherries scent. At the end a few sweet herbal notes of white tea arise.
Liquor's colour:
Yellow.
Liquor's scent:
Really consistent to the dry scent, with

cherries and white tea notes.
Taste:
At first it is quite weak and watery. Giving time it starts to show its cherry flavour, but you can taste it quite well only at the end, like it was closer to an aftertaste. Then there are the astringency given by the green tea used as a based as also the white tea; this last one, differently from the other, gives sweetness to the infusion which balance the cherries' bitter side. It's really a light tea.
Conclusion:
Truly an intruiguing dry scent, all built up on cherries, but which isn't replicated in the taste. If you like light teas, maybe this could suit you.
My score is: 6.5/10
