Tea type: Black Tea

Brand: Tea House

How to prepare it: 5 minutes, 100 °C ( 212 °F)

Dry scent:

Dense, thick and full-bodied. There are woody hints with pure liquorice notes. Few balsamic hints and something that recalls to coffee beans at the end. Moreover there is also a background swetness which, beside liquorice, recalls to peach. Its scent is so dense that seems to be an aged black tea.

Liquor's colour:

Liquor's scent:

Extremely consistent with its dry scent. Still

thick and full-bodied.

Full-bodied and dense, with strong notes of wood and liquorice. In particular, at the end, it leaves a sensation closer to the bitterness and sweetness given by a pure liquorice candy. The huge, bitter aftertaste is truly enjoyable, still remembering that liquorice feeling with also a salty dimension. Never astringent.

Truly a thick, full-bodied black tea like few, which strongly recalls to liquorice in many different shades, with the classic woody touch typical of many black teas. The packaging is really elegant!

My score is: 8.75/10
