Tea type: Flavoured Black Tea

Brand: Suki Tea

How to prepare it: 4 - 6 minutes, 100 °C ( 212 °F)

Dry scent:

It's extremely sweet with strong notes of berries and cereal. It remembers me a little bit breakfast's flakes with berries. Quite full-bodied with a few hints of dark chocolate at the end.

Liquor's colour:

Light brown.

Liquor's scent:

Now the main flavours are dark chocolate and the wooden ones given by the black tea used as base.

It tastes really different respect what I was expected: at first there are strong notes of dark chocolate and then it goes towards berries, like dark chocolate with piece of raspberries inside it. Quite an intersting mix between the bitterness of the chocolate and sourness of the raspberry. However there is still a background malty sweetness which balance a little bit theese two main flavours. At the end raspberry arises again. It leaves a strong and fresh taste of raspberry and dark chocolate.

Really a particular and unusual flavoured black tea, with an extremely sweet dry scent and with a taste which is, at the beginning, almost the opposite. This is a tea which must be understood in order to be appreciated it at its maximum. Really interesting.

My score is: 7.7/10
