ORGANIC SENCHA PREMIUM

Tea type: green tea
Brand: Kenyo tea
How to prepare it: 1 minute first steep, 40-50 sec. second steep, both at 80°C (175 °F)

Dry scent:
Extremely strong herbal notes typical of japanese green teas, with a few umami hints. It's a really strong scent, and you can truly smell the chlorophyll scent. It remember me a littel bit sea air and a little bith of iodine.
Liquor's colour:
Bright green.
Liquor's scent:
- First steep: extremely consistent with the

dry one, however now there are a little bit more tannins.
- Second steep: exactly equal as before, but less strong.
Taste:
- First steep: really a strong flavour; not the usual sencha that we are use to. It's light and fresh, with tons of herbal notes. Defintely full-bodied. You can really taste the chlorophyll without any bitterness. All it's flavours are in a perfect equilibrium. It doesn't leave a particular aftertaste, just a clean mouth ready for the next sip.
-Second steep: equal as the first steep, but definitely less strong.
Conclusion:
A really good sencha tea as we are not use to here in the west. Really fresh and strong at the same time. Perfect in the summer morning.
