NOËL POMME CANNELLE

Tea type: herbal tea / hibiscus
Brand: Fine Tea
How to prepare it: 5 - 8 minutes, 100°C (212 °F)

Dry scent:
Really spicy with strong notes of cardamom, cinnamon and maybe cloves. There is also a background sweetness, smooth and sour at the same time, given by apple and also few herbal hints.
Liquor's colour:
Pale yellow.
Liquor's scent:
Still spicy, but smoother with respect before. It's never prickly and now there is also a malty sweetness.

Taste:
Defintely less spicy as expected: it's sweet and fruity characterized by a sweetness which never annoying. Sweet but not sweetish. Of course there are the spicy notes, especially cardamom, which enrich the overall taste. At the end, apple comes out cleaning the palate, ready for a new sip. It leaves with sweet malty/fruity notes.
Conclusion:
Truly an wintry herbal tea, sweet and spicy

but extremely enjoyable. To be drunk absolutely during the winter time. Hibiscus and apple together may give some sour notes, however the infusion is really well balance, avoiding this problem.
My score is: 8.25/10.
