Tea type: Oolong tea

Brand: 4Track Tea

How to prepare it: 4 minutes and 30 seconds, 95 °C (204 °F)

Dry scent:

At first there are strong herbal notes - clorophyll in particular - with a sort of powdery texture. Then it shows a smooth sweetness, quite thick, which recalls a little bit to honey. At the end there is also a salty hint, which reminds me, I don't know why, the salt dough.

Liquor's colour:

Pale yellow.

Liquor's scent:

Really different than before, with an

extremely sugary feeling, like cristallazed honey. Then there are the more familiar herbal notes.

Extremely gentle - maybe too much gentle for me -. It doesn't show any bitterness, but neither a strong sweetness (neutral?); quite equilibrated. After a while smooth sweet and herbal notes start to arise. It leaves a slighlty astringent, herbish aftertaste.

An Oolong tea with really an intersting dry

scent, but which isn't able to brought also in its taste. Extremely gentle, with sweet herbal notes. For all those ones who don't like strong-taste teas.

My score is: 7.3/10
