FANNY HONEY

Tea type: Herbal tea

Brand: Dear Tea Society

How to prepare it: 100 °C (212 °F) for 5-8 minutes

Dry scent:

Extremely sweet with strong notes of orange. There is also a sour hint given by apple pieces with a slightly spicy background.

Liquor's colour:

Dark orange/ Pastel brown

Wet scent:

Consistent with its dry scent, but with a stonger apple aroma. The orange hints given by honeybush are now less intense, but it's still present the previous spicy background.

Taste:

Less sweet than I thought at first, sometimes also a little bit watery. It's really light and smooth,

with the sourness given by apple pieces as first taste. The infusion is balanced by the fresh, sweet note of orange given by the honeybush, but now without that spicy sensation.

It gives a short, clean aftertaste.

Conclusions:

A light and smooth herbal tea characterizes by sweet and sour notes of apple and orange. Perfect in the late afternoon or during the evening.

My score is: 7.5/10
