CHINA YUNNAN

Tea type: Pu-erh tea

Brand: Peter's tea house

How to prepare it: 3 to 5 minutes, 95 °C (205 °F)

Dry scent:

Strong earthy scent, thick and full-bodied with a few hints of dark chocolate. It remebers a lot the wet ground after the rain - as many others pu-erh tea -.

Liquor's colour:

Dark brown, almost like the american coffee.

Liquor's scent:

Extrmely consistent to the dry one, but more watery, with the same earthy aroma. The chocolate notes now disappear.

Taste:

It's fullbodied and really smooth, with strong watery and earthy notes, like being in a bush after the rain. There is no bitterness: it has truly the typical pu-erh taste, maybe a little to simple. I think that it's a young pu-erh tea. Despite that, it realy wraparound and ejoyable.

Conclusion:

A good, simple, pu-erh tea which taste as a pu-erh tea. Full-bodied and smooth at the same time: perfect as an every day tea and also for all those one who want to try this type of tea for the first time.

My score is: 7.5/10
