ANXI TIE GUAN YIN

Tea type: Oolong tea

Brand: Teasenz

How to prepare it: 3-4 minutes, 100°C (212 °F)

Dry scent:

Extremely aromatic and full-bodied. At first there are strong fruity notes, like strawberry and maybe a little hint of apricot. All this fruit is sorrounded by a not so well defined sweetness, which enfatizes this sense of thickness. At the end there a few herbal hints.

Liquor's colour:

Light yellow.

Liquor's scent:

Now it tends to be less aromatic than

before and there are differents sweet notes, like camomille. However there are still herbal notes with a few fruity hints and little bit of tannins.

Taste:

It's really sweet and fruity, but gentle at the same time. It shows a sugary sweetness, but not like if there were some sugar in the infusion, from its fruity dimension. Infact there is a huge aftertaste made up of many different - sweet - fruits: strawberry, apricot, raspberry. Differently than before there aren't any herbal notes, neither

tannins. It leaves a sweet aftertaste, like a blackberry candy.

Conclusion:

An extremely sweet and fruity oolong tea, really interesting and enjoyable. Perfect at any hour of the day.

My score is: 8.5/10
