Tea type: white oolong tea

Brand: Tee Aus Nepal

How to prepare it: 1-2 minutes, 80°C (175°F)

Dry scent:

It's extremely sweet with strong notes of honey. Then, some woody hints are shown up, recalling to a few white Darjeeling teas. At the end is present also a slightly floral aroma.

Liquor's colour:

Bright pale yellow.

Liquor's scent:

Really consistent to the dry one, with sweet notes of honey at first, followed by that

woody feeling - let me say white wood - which gives thickness to the scent. Now the floral hints are more in evidence than before.

Quite gentle, but resolute at the same time: it shows the same sweet honey notes - which charaterizes this tea in all its shades -, but more sugary, recalling to crystallized honey. Moreover, a few words must be spent about its texture: it really gives you the idea of eating a spoon of such a crystallized honey,

especially at the end, when it release its sweetness. Then a more floral dimension arises, while the woody one disappear. It leaves a slightly sweet aftertaste.

A white tea which give truly uncommon feeling, but which pay something in terms of simplicty - tons of honey -. Besides this, it's really a good white tea with an interesting texture and a strong sweetness.

My score is: 8.5/10
